The Mo' Power Remix

This is a remix of select tracks in our debut project, Mo’ Power, the first album release of TUMI Productions. We are dedicated to creating abundant, excellent music products that reflect in every way the themes and rhythms of the city. This remix album, Mo' Power Remix: The Blue EP, shows well our commitment to city rhythms and their unique musical harmonies. We selected tunes from the original project and remixed them to communicate in a language of a recognizable urban musical voice. (“We let the dogs out!”)

This extended play album also includes our musical versions of the Nicene Creed, in both Spanish and English, along with a spoken-word jam on the Story of God. These were produced by Bobby Gilmer, who oversees our TUMI Productions projects, who also created the lion’s share of jams on this EP. Daniel Davis also contributed to this project, providing his band Living Ghost’s remix of the main track, Mo’ Power. We believe that if you enjoyed the first release, you undoubtedly will find this Mo’ Power Remix: The Blue EP satisfying. (“This ain’t your mother’s release, it’s yo’ mama’s remix!”)

As those committed to produce fresh beats and jams that both reflect our commitment to the living Christ and the musical voices of urban life, we release this remix with joy. Come, magnify the Lord with us, and let us exalt his name together – in urban voice and rhythm (Ps. 40.1-4). Let the warriors of God raise their battle cry, and make war in Jesus’ name against the principalities and powers holding sway in urban America.
