The Nicene Creed summarizes the key doctrinal tenets of our Great Tradition, i.e., that core of doctrines and practices which Christians around the world have always believed, everywhere, and by all. Our intent is to constantly provide and encourage fresh interpretations of our ancient-undivided faith tradition, and to do in ways that contemporary urban cultures can both enjoy and embrace. Both our musical version of the Nicene Creed, as well as Dr. Don Davis' teaching on our life together in the Story of God represent a blending of classic historic teaching on the biblical storyline accented with grooves that resonate in the streets of the American inner city. Both the Creed and the teaching on the Story give the listener a tasty sense of the Bible's plot line, a drama which climaxes with God's saving work in Christ. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (2 Cor. 3.17), and this is our attempt to show a love for the historic truth of the faith and sultry hip-hop groove--a nice combination together, indeed.

Bobby Gilmer is the artist on this and many TUMI Production projects. He wrote, produced, and mastered these tracks, setting music to one of Dr. Don Davis' teachings on the Story of God, along with his recitation of the Nicene Creed. These tracks were released in honor of our TUMI Satellite coordinators at our Satellite Summit 2013.
